      <Abstract>This Research Article attempts to explore concept of Make in India and Manufacturing Hub and the underlying reality, Whether Make in India Means just a Striding lion composed of Cogs or a camouflage .Is it a Myth or Reality or Old wine in new bottle, what is the difference between Make in India and Made in India. Many intriguing questions like this start originating in your mind, Aiming at making India a Manufacturing Hub, initiatives for promoting ease of doing business for domestic and Foreign Investors for 25 priority sectors are identified and implemented by the new Government ted by Hon. Narendra Modij!. This paper also gives a snapshot of the Status of Indian Manufacturing Sector along with key Economic Indicators and reasons for proposing this Initiative and response of the Industry. Plans of companies, including foreign ones, have released announcements in line with this initiative. India is going to be a Manufacturing Hub for Maruti-Suzuki Baleno. A. M, Naik , Chairman Larsen __ampersandsign Toubro (L__ampersandsignT) has opined that India has virtually killed the Manufacturing sector to revive this. sector it will take years, however, current Government__ampersandsign#39;s wish and Vision will simplify procedures , Today, Manufacturing Sector is just less than 17% of G.0.P. (Gross Domestic Product) as compared to 50% of China and 40% of Malaysia. Sunil Sikka, President of HAVELL India opined that India can__ampersandsign#39;t replace China as a Manufacturing Hub, but India can certainly be an alternative in Industries where application of skills is higher than assembling competencies, This Paper analyses impediments India is facing in becoming a Manufacturing Hub, specifically in the context of Infrastructure Development of Roads __ampersandsign Highways and Power Sector Infrastructure capacity additions required to meet the energy demand of the Industry. This paper also throws light on the Impact of Make in India on generation of Employment and various recent policy measures and projects to liberalize further India’s Manufacturing Sector. Specifically, measures to develop Delhi-Mumbat Industrial Corridor (DMIC) as a global manufacturing and an investment destination utilizing the 1,483 km-long, high-capacity western Dedicated Railway Freight Corridor (DFC) as the backbone. This research Article also investigates the role of Digital India __ampersandsign Skilling india for enabling Make in India and Institutions in making Make in India a Successful Initiative. Secondary data received from various Books of International recognition, Research papers in International Journals, Press releases of Government and Industry, Opinion Survey and Fact Sheets, and my personal experience in multiple Industries in various capacities is the mainstay of my Research, In conclusions __ampersandsign suggestions we have investigated word of Cautions by: Late Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam i.e. Threat of India becoming just a vassal of Manufacturing Assembly. Reserve Bank of India Governor Raghuram Rajan in dismissing the idea of introducing a policy targeting the manufacturing sector, just because it had worked for China, given how different the two countries are. His opinion suggesting that world as a whole is unlikely to be able to accommodate another export-led China. Paper concludes with a strong Case for Make in India to make India a Manufacturing Hub and suggestions to make this a Reality!
