he Indian tourism and hospitality industry has emerged as one of the key drivers of growth among the services sector in India. The launch of several branding and marketing initiatives by the Government of India such as Incredible India! and Athiti Devo Bhava have provided a focussed impetus to growth. India offers geographical diversity, attractive beaches, 32 world heritage sites and 25 bio-geographic zones. India has a diverse portfolio of niche tourism products cruises, adventure, medical, wellness, sports, eco-tourism, film, rural and religious tourism. Eco-tourism is at a nascent stage, but there are conscious efforts to save the fragile eco-system and the culture and heritage of indigenous people.

This research paper is intended to get an insight about one of the blooming and potentially growing service sector. The objective of the study is to know the current business scenario and future budding opportunities in the field of Tourism and

Hospitality of India.
