      <Abstract>Abstract - The study focused on presenting a clear scenario of the impact of exchange rate on unemployment in India. The thrust area was to investigate the effect of fluctuations in exchange rate on unemployment situation in the country. The relevant data was collected from secondary databases available in print and online for the period covered under the study. The period was limited to a decade starting from 2005 to 2015. The research specifically aimed at highlighting the effect of exchange rate volatility on unemployment. The data was obtained from the Reserve bank of India__ampersandsign#39;s publications as well as from the handbook of statistics on Indian economy and World Bank Data .The study employed regression technique to analyze the impact of foreign exchange rate volatility on unemployment. It was revealed that exchange rate volatility has significant effect on unemployment in India.</Abstract>
