DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF INTELLIGENT WEB BASED FUZZY LOGIC APPROACH FOR STUDENT

Abstract:

Students are inevitable part of any learning institute or university and student mentoring is a structure of peer help deeds to maximize success of student.Mentoring system is also helpful to design and development of more efficient learning strategies, to strengthen personal motivation and commitment to institution or university studies, and to sustain academic excellence with incomparable student experience as well. An institute or university can also provide help to placement companies to choose best candidate by using consistent student mentoring system. The paper proposes an intelligent fuzzy approach for student mentoring that removes any psychological elements that may have negative bearing on unbiased evaluation. Fuzzy logic is useful to draw definite conclusions from indistinct, hazy or inaccurate information. The paper discusses parameters that affect the student's credit and placement activities .This paper also discusses criteria and parameters which are helpful to recognize 360 degree mentoring evaluation.The criteria are expressed using fuzzy scales and final evaluation is computed as weighted average of fuzzy evaluations.
