With an ever increasing annual consumption of electronic gadgets, India__ampersandsign#39;s e waste generation has also increased manifold . Rapid growth in this industry coupled with advancement in technologies has led to the accumulation of e-waste stream, which is expected to increase further in the coming years. Unfortunately, India does not have structured and stringent e -waste disposal mechanism which has led to the mushrooming of unorganized sectors for harvesting the massive e waste being generated in India which has its associated severe health hazards. This research article attempts to provide insight into the quantum of the health hazards associated with unorganized e-waste management . It also suggests innovative ideas to mitigate the impact of e-waste management .
